An Affiliate Marketing Journey

Hopefully you’ve been following along on my progress on my Discount Shaving Supplies website. If you don’t know what I’m talking about here’s a brief summary.

I wrote a ebook / PDF document (download it here) about making websites using wordpress, Ebay Partner Network and PHPbay. It’s a really easy way to make some passive income and a great way to be productive when you’re hating PPC. (i’m sure some of us have been there!). Anyway, in the document I described how to bulid a site and used a Discount Shaving supply website as my example. I’m designing, buildling and making this website from scratch and posting my revenue results here.

First Month. The first month is officially complete.

This months stats are actually pretty good considering the site is VERY new.

My stats from Ebay Partner Network are as follow.
Impression: 73
EPC: $9.07
Total Earning: $6.62

So I’ve made a total of $6.62 so far. Although this is not a large amount these sites aren’t about cashing in right away (although that would be nice). It’s about building a quality site that will be loved by Google. The $6.62 is just a bonus at this point and I hope to keep on building on that.

Links: 6 (according to Yahoo)

This next month I hope to add another 30 pages of unique content to the site. This should almost finish the building process with the actual items.

Note: I update stats after the 7th of new month. I do this because Ebay’s stats are delayed by 7 days and therefore we have the correct revenue details to report.
