I’m off to Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas this Saturday. It’s going to be a great conference (and mini-vacation).
The main purpose of the trip is obviously to attend the conference. Unfortunately the conference talks (I only have access on Sunday and Monday) look relatively boring or inapplicable at this point. I’ll be attending one session on Sunday for sure involving Nickycakes. Maybe I’ll learn something but if nothing else I’ll meet some other WickedFire members at the talk.
I’m also going to going through and meeting some of my affiliate managers and hopefully make some other contacts at other networks. This is a relatively small industry and making some contacts and friends can go a long way to helping my overall success.
There will be a PPC-Coach meet-up/beers on Monday at 1pm at the Irish Pub (Flanders) at the Rio. Anyone who’s a PPC-Coach member should stop by for a beer and some “shop talk”. Should be fun to meet the people who are working on similar things.
The other thing I plan on doing completely unrelated to Affiliate Marketing is playing some disc golf. Disc Golf in January without snow is always a treat so hopefully I can get out for a round (or two).
