As you can see I’ve changed the title of the blog to Making Money Online - Blogs, PPC & Ebay. I want to talk about way more then just making money online with blogs. Sure that’s an interesting topic and something that totally works. However, like any good stock broker I’m trying to diversify my portfolio. I want to not only rely on my blogs for income but also my PHPbay stores and PPC ventures to also make money.
So here’s a bit of my diversification.
Blogs: Blogs are great because they’re easy and free. You rarely ever pay for traffic and all you really have to do is write content, but there-in lies the drawback. Content! Content can be a tough. You want to make your site and content fun to read and fun to write. Basically you want a site that compels your reader to keep visiting. I’ve been monitoring some people’s blogs who update very rarely but the content is amazing.
Ebay: Using PHPbay is another great way to make money. You simply need the cheap plugin PHPbay which allows you to easily place ebay links on your site. If you want to read a few posts about my PHPbay sites then read these posts here and here. I’ll be releasing a VERY basic ebook soon so check back for that.
PPC: Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing is another great way to make money online. This method is a little more risky as you have to pay for traffic to your sites. This is where I’m currently focusing most of my efforts.
Sure there are about 15-20 other ways to make money online like PPV, bum marketing (yes, it’s actually called that) or email marketing. However, these will be the three ways making money online. It’s also great that all of these methods are in different niches. Making money online as in most things is a tale of putting the work in to get the reward.
So my work and reward are the following.
$100 / day for 30 days from now till January 11th. January 11th is the starting date of Affiliate Summit West in Vegas. The goal: Indoor Skydiving in Las Vegas.
In the next few months I’ll be updating my progress on this goal. Specifically, I’m going to be focusing on PPC as this is the avenue where I have very little revenue so far. I’ve joined PPC coach and hope to learn and teach myself how to get a successful campaign running. Check back for more updates.
