As we know Twitter is a great place for social networking. Well, here’s a great example of why and how social networking can be so powerful! SEOcrazy twittered a comment saying does anyone want to try Datapresser out and give a review of it on their blog? I jumped at the chance because I’ve been considering joining for a while but haven’t had the time to dedicate myself to learn it yet. So, without further ado, this is a review for Datapresser.

My impression of Datapresser is that it’s a way to easily build, manage and monitor many unique content websites. This is great because it’s a pain to have to login to many different website to track stats, backlinks, keywords, etc.. Datapresser puts everything in one place! Secondly, unique content and blog creation is either time consuming or expensive. Datapresser has a Unique Content Generator script which helps you create your unique content automatically, thus, extending your reach on the internet!

Datapresser has four main features included in the monthly subscription: Search Engine Statistics Tracker, Keyword Monitor, Mass Blog Installer and Unique Content Generator. I’ll go over each of these in detail.

Search Engine Statistics Tracker

To track a site is simple. You simply enter type in the name of the URL and hit enter. No need to install any scripts or code on your site! Simple and Effective! I setup to track 9 of my sites in a matter of minutes. All the stats are tracked in one location and you can see the number of incoming links, outgoing links and cached pages.

Keyword Monitor

The keyword monitor is simply a case of entering a keyword that you’d like to monitor and a site that you have setup to track. You can select which geographically which google algorithm you’d like to use for monitoring purposes (very handy for us Canadians!)

This is a great way to keep an eye on your keywords which means that instead of having to go to Google.ca and type in the keyword you’d like to rank for. You simply enter it here and then you can track a number of keywords. If a keyword starts dropping in rank you can see if quickly and determine if it’s a site-wide problem or a keyword only problem!

Mass Blog Installer

The mass blog installer is super simple to use if you’ve followed my setup on how to install a blog. You simply enter the host name, cpanel information and the number of blogs that you’d like to install. Voila! You have your mass blog setup. This is a very handy way of setting up blogs quickly and easily as this can be one of the more time consuming steps when making lots of blogs.

Unique Content Generator

The unique content generator uses something called a madlib script. Basically you try and write a paragraph, post or whatever using as many script words as possible. These script words are words that you can specify or DataPresser has a large library of terms to use. The goal is to write something that is readable to a human but non-distinguishable (or unique) from the search engines. Therefore, you’ll get a unique bunch of content created uniquely.

I have yet to create a very good madlib script as I’m still in the process of learning and tweaking it. However, it’s really not that hard to use it’s just difficult to come up with something that I consider acceptable. These madlib scripts could be VERY useful when creating something like a phpbay site where you want a short paragraph about the item yet the item doesn’t change very much.

Applications of DataPresser

As with most things on the internet the limits of a software package is your creativity. However, here are some good ways to use DataPresser.

  • Monitor your backlinks and cached pages of ALL your webpages
  • Track keywords that you’d like to rank for!
  • Monitor your competitors websites watching their backlinks, cached pages and outgoing links!
  • Create a bunch of links to your ‘important sites’ from a blog that is being continually updated. Google loves unique and updated content sites, what better way then using a madlib script.
  • Create a bunch of PHPbay sites WITH unique content quickly! (I’m going to try this method out and see how easy, fast and effective it is.
  • Create a bunch of scripts for the bottom of your signature

Cool Things:

I think the neatest thing when looking through all the introduction material is the overview of the unique content system. There is a section that says “This introduction was created by Datapresser”. What this means is that the following introduction about Datapresser is written with the datapresser madlib scripts. You can hit a refresh button, re-read the write-up and you’ll notice that it’s a different write-up with the same general point! Very cool way to introduce the script.

In Summary

I’ve been a member of quite a few different communities, memberships and paid forums on the internet. From subscribing and un-subscribing to these services I’ve been able to determine what I consider good value. I must say that Datapresser can be considered near the top of the list in terms of value. The professional membership should be able to pay for itself in due time if you are tracking your websites and keywords while creating a bunch of unique content! Great work DataPresser developers!
