Starting today June 3rd, I’m starting my one thousand dollar pay per click experiment. What is my $1k PPC experiment?
Well, I’ve been wanting to get into the PPC market for a while. I’ve been doing some very simple direct linking but it’s been very casual. Although, I’ve gained some good lessons this way I’ll never make it as a PPC marketer if I take it casually. Therefore, two weeks ago I was at the PPC summit in San Francisco. There I learnt a lot about keywords, adgroups, ad copy, etc…
Therefore, in the interest of delving deeper into PPC marketing and using my knowledge from PPC summit I’ll be starting my $1K challenge.
The Rules
I’ll spend $1000 within 3 months. I’ll make weekly posts documenting all expenditure’s on this blog and this can range from software to landing pages to adwords money and my progress thus far. At the end of the month if I make money (ie: receive a cheque) I can reinvest this money back into the project.
At the end of the 3 months I hope to have a profitable running PPC campaign. If I don’t at least I’ll have a better idea of what I need to learn or do to make my PPC marketing profitable. During this time I hope to give my readers an idea of what it takes to become a PPC marketer.
What is PPC Marketing you may ask?
PPC stands for Pay Per Click marketing which I’ll get into in another post.
These PPC blogs might be a bit more advanced for some of my usual readers beginner bloggers. As well, it doesn’t deal with blogging at all! However, you can make money online with PPC marketing, hence the $1k experiment.
