Once you have your domain name and host you’ll need to set one more thing up. You need to tell your domain where to look for the data. This is called a nameserver.

It’s really quite simple.

Login to your domain registrar (www.GoDaddy.com, Dotster.com or wherever).

Click on your domain name.

Then under name servers there will be something like DNS1.EXAMPLE.COM. You need to change this to your hosts nameserver. This will look something like DNS1.ANHOSTING.COM (if you were hosted with An Hosting.

You can easily find your exact name server in your host account. If you can’t find it there then check the email from your host. If that doesn’t work then you can email your host customer support for the name server. (You did get a host with good customer service right?)
If you’re really having problems then fire me off an email and I can probably help you out.
